Happy Easter everyone, it is true today I didn't have any chocolate for Easter, in the past I have had a sugar free chocolate bar or something of similar nature but not today. Before you praise me for being good, it is because I have been over indulging in the carbs, and I am really feeling quiet guilty about it all.
I did however stumble across a new movie (new for me that is, it is a 2020 movie) and it is called "Fat Fiction". I strongly recommend this movie, and I give it five out of five for the information content and their attempt to kill the phobia about "Saturated Fat". So many people still fear that eating fat will make you fat after 40 years! that dogma has been proven to be false. The movie also points out some very good points and statistics on Cholesterol, most doctors favourite subject, they can't wait to prescribe a Statin drug! My doctor is from the old school, and still believes the fats will cause stroke and heart attacks. We have come to an agreeable understanding now, I wont take the Statins and he wont send me for the tests. Having said that, if you have watched the movie "Cereal Killers" Donal, does the very high fat low carb diet for a month and of course his cholesterol went up (his LDL which is the bad one) BUT!!!! it is shown that the LDL particles were large and fluffy and would cause no harm, we are not offered the particle size test, they just want to appease the Pharmaceuticals and prescribe a cholesterol lowering drug. I have watched the movie Fat Fiction 3 times now it is inspiring for me, I am hoping that I am inspired enough to stay on the keto wagon. That is about all I have to say for now, will keep you posted! Keto is King, Keep on Ketoing
